What I Did To Celebrate My Graduation in 2018

Congratulations Fellow Graduates!

I am so excited to announce that I will officially be receiving my bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Although, I won’t be walking down the stage this May. I was able to walk down the stage last December and had a blast with family and friends. I wanted to do a full recap about what went down during my graduation ceremony and how we celebrated the occasion.

Here we go:

Thursday: I got my hair done by the amazing and fabulous Dej. She literally slayed my hair and had me looking bomb during graduation weekend. I will leave her contact information below. After I got my hair done, I went out with my close friend Keziah to Fry Street and had a blast.

Friday: I went to brunch with my boyfriend and close friend Stephanie Traylor. We had an amazing breakfast at Snooze AM Eatery. I forgot what I ordered but I remember drinking hot chocolate in the cutest glass. I will definitely be going back the next time I’m in Addison. I wasn’t able to capture any moments on camera but we definitely had a great time. I went home straight after and took the longest nap ever!!

Saturday: Now this day was where all the graduation festivities took place. I was able to see my lovely boyfriend cross the stage around 12-2, we went to eat lunch with his family, and then I headed back for my own ceremony at 4. I will insert loads of pictures I took that day to celebrate this festive occasion with my friends and family. I was very grateful to see my family members who drove out to see me walk the stage and celebrate. After the ceremony, we went to my house to eat, talk, and hang out. After the party at my house, the young adults went out on the town to the club STATUS. It was by far the best experience I’ve had at club in Dallas ( would highly suggest for the women who are under 21 and still want to experience the club scene). I had so many great moments that day and I’m so happy that I was able to celebrate it with the people who matter to me the most.

NOW, that I’m done recapping my graduation weekend. It’s now time for me to celebrate my fellow friend’s who are walking across the stage tomorrow. I’m so excited to see them walk across that stage, receive that degree, and kill post-grad life. I’ve been so fortunate to be able to meet people who love and support me as much as they do. I’m so ready to get lit, celebrate, and continue to stand by their side as they conquer their goals and achieve their dreams.

In other words, Let’s parttayy.
