My Surprise Engagement Proposal

I’m Engaged

It sounds crazy coming out of my mouth but it is true! I am about to be a MRS. I am about to marry the love of my life. I am super excited, anxious, and nervous for what’s to come. From planning the wedding, finding a pre-marital class, and figuring out our next moves career wise. It’s going to be one busy season for the both of us but I can’t lie. I am super excited and grateful to be in this season.

I’ve known my Fiancé for about 4 years and I have no doubt that our marriage will be even BETTER than our relationship. And trust me! Our relationship is amazing. Not perfect by any means but it works. I love him with all my heart and have never felt so secure in a relationship. I am so glad I was able to meet him at such a young age. I will be able to see him turn from a young adult to a full-grown man, and eventually a future father to our kids. That’s exciting to even think about! (insert screech)

Anyway, let’s get into how Malik popped the question.

Malk proposed to me at the Reunion Tower, where we were surrounded by friends and family. He was able to get a photographer who captured the big moment. He literally planned my dream proposal with a view and I was able to have the people that matter the most to US be apart of it. He did GOOD.

Fun Fact: He proposed on the day that I first met him at Texas Southern University around the time we first laid eyes on each other like WOW, he is good!!!
